Dr. William Jeffrey, a senior director in the White House's Office of Science and Technology Policy, has postponed his visit to UW-Eau Claire because he was called to an assignment in Baghdad.
Jeffrey was scheduled to give a presentation on campus Friday about the role of science and technology in homeland security.
Jeffrey will come to campus at a later date, during which he'll
discuss his activities in Iraq.
