EAU CLAIRE - The Women's Chorus at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center.

The ensemble, conducted by Dr. Alan Rieck, assistant professor of music and theatre arts, Dr. Gary Schwartzhoff, director of choral activities, and senior Sarah Eichen, Burnsville, Minn., will begin the concert with "Missa Brevis in D, Op. 63" by Benjamin Britten. The concert will continue with "Christie Eleison" by Antonio Vivaldi; "Alleluia" by Randall Thompson; "How Can I Keep From Singing," a shaker tune composed by Robert Lowry and arranged by Robert Hugh; and "I'm Goin' Up A Yonder," a gospel song by Walter Hawkins, featuring freshman Julie Bindl, Spring Green.

The concert also will feature a performance by Impromptu, an a cappella ensemble. Impromptu will perform "Naturally," arranged by Dave Fehr; "Number One Crush," arranged by Justin Lundberg; and "Come What May," arranged by Lundberg and Jane Schutt.
