29th Annual Viennese Ball
To be Held April 11 and 12

 MAILED:  April 2, 2003

EAU CLAIRE - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will present the 29th Annual Viennese Ball at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 11, and Saturday, April 12, in the W.R. Davies University Center.

The Viennese Ball is the largest social event hosted annually at UW-Eau Claire. The ball showcases the University Symphony Orchestra, performing waltzes and polkas from the Strauss Era; Jazz Ensemble I, performing music from America's Big Band Era; and student and faculty ensembles and regional musicians performing a variety of repertoire.

The Viennese Ball helps to fund music scholarships and international study awards while promoting positive university, community and international relations. In addition, the Viennese Ball fosters an appreciation for the culture, history and music of Vienna, Austria.

The 29th Annual Viennese Ball is sold out, however, the UW-Eau Claire online sales board has information on tickets offered for sale by individuals. Those wishing to sell Viennese Ball tickets may post their tickets for sale on the board.

To be added to the Viennese Ball mailing list for 2004, call the University Service Center at (715) 836-3727 or 1-800-949-UWEC.
