EOC to
Offer Career Information Sessions
To Neillsville Area Residents

EAU CLAIRE — A career counselor from the Educational Opportunity Center
on the
University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire campus will accept appointments for Tuesday,
April 15, in
Neillsville.
The EOC provides information and counseling services free of charge to eligible
community adults. Individualized counseling includes career assessment and selection;
investigation of training opportunities; and help with admissions, financial aid,
and registration
procedures. The counselor will use local labor market information to show where
job growth will
be and will explore a variety of training options such as certificate programs
and one-, two- and
four-year degrees.
The EOC counselor will take individual appointments at the Clark County Job Center
in
Neillsville. To make an appointment, call toll free (800) 335-3113.
EOC programs are funded by a U.S. Department of Education grant.
