MAILED:
March 27, 2003
EAU CLAIRE - There are still openings in some of the more than 220 undergraduate
and graduate courses, including 21 Web-based courses, offered during the University
of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's 2003 Summer Session.
Jan Morse, administrative officer for academic affairs, said currently enrolled
students and special students - including those not currently enrolled at UW-Eau
Claire - can register up until the first day of class for each session. The three-week
session runs May 19-June 6 and the eight-week session runs June 9 to Aug. 1. Two
four-week sessions also are offered during the eight-week session.
The courses offered range from the study of human anatomy and physiology to technical
writing to painting or photography. Students also may earn credits at off-campus
locations, studying biology, for example, at the Pigeon Lake Field Station in
Chequamegon National Forest in northern Wisconsin or marine biology and geology
at the Gulf Coast Research Lab in Ocean Springs, Miss.
Information about these and other course offerings are on UW-Eau
Claire's Web site. To check seat availability, go to Blugold Online. For more
information, call the Registration and Scheduling office at (715) 836-2425.
