Tickets Still Available for
UW-Eau Claire's Cabaret

EAU CLAIRE — There are still some tickets available for the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire 2003 Cabaret.
Cabaret XXV, "Silver Anniversary," will feature the music of performers popular 25 years ago, including Eric Clapton; Billy Joel; Dolly Parton; Boston; Earth, Wind and Fire; Frank Sinatra; Donna Summers; and Aerosmith. Several UW-Eau Claire music ensembles will perform, including the Cabaret Orchestra, Concert Choir I and II, The Singing Statesmen and Women's Concert Chorale.
Cabaret performances are slated for 7:30 p.m. Jan. 16-18 and Jan. 23-25, with matinees at 2 p.m. Jan. 18 and 25. All shows will be in the Council Fire Room of Davies Center. In addition to the shows, optional buffet dinners will be served at 6 p.m. in the Dulany Inn of Davies Center before the evening performances. Advance reservations are required. A deli and dessert cash buffet will be available in the Council Fire Room starting at 6:30 p.m. for 7:30 p.m. shows, and 1 p.m. for matinee shows. The buffet also will be available during intermission for all performances. A cash bar will open at 5:30 p.m. for evening performances, at 1 p.m. for matinee performances and during intermission for all performances.
Cabaret, a 10-month project with an operating budget of $18,000, has raised more than $175,000 in scholarships for music students.
