School of Nursing to Offer Free Health Evaluations— 
UW-Eau Claire nursing students and faculty will conduct free health assessments for children up to 15 years of age Monday, Sept. 30.
     Evaluations include health histories, developmental and nutritional assessments, vision and hearing screenings, and physical exams.

‘Math for Young Achievers' Program to be Offered— 
A beginning through advanced math program for elementary and middle school students will be offered at UW-Eau Claire during the fall and spring semesters.
     The program is designed for students who enjoy learning about different topics in mathematics.
     Classes will meet from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Mondays, Oct. 7-Dec. 9 in Hibbard Hall. UW-Eau Claire students, supervised by a math professor, will teach the classes.
     The cost for the semester is $165 for tuition and materials. The registration deadline is Sept. 30.

Tickets on Sale Sept. 18 for Big Band Battle— 
The UW-Eau Claire department of music and theatre arts will host an evening of music and dancing featuring a big band battle between Jazz I and II. The event will kick off at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 18 in Zorn Arena.
     Titled "A Salute to the Big Band Era," the event will feature songs like "In the Mood" and "Chattanooga Choo Choo." Tickets, available at the Service Center, will go on sale Sept. 18.

Lippizzaner Stallions tickets available— 
Tickets now are on sale for a show by the world-famous Lipizzaner Stallions. The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 26 in Zorn Arena.
     The family-oriented attraction will feature new music, choreography and routines. It also will emphasize the historical background and foundation of the Lipizzaner breed.
     For ticket information, call the University Service Center at 836-3727..
