The fall 2008 issue of Safe & Sound, a publication of the Wisconsin Department of Administration, Bureau of State Risk Management and the Wisconsin State Employees Union, is available online.

Erica Benson presented a paper titled "'Want in the Club?' Understanding 'Need/Want' + Prepositional Phrase Constructions” at the Midwest Region Conference of the American Dialect Society Nov. 14 in Minneapolis, Minn.

Dale Taylor (emeritus), founder of the music therapy program at UW-Eau Claire, was the first speaker on the invitation-only program of the Mozart & Science 2008 Conference Nov. 16-19 in Vienna, Austria. Taylor's presentation, "Biomedical Music Therapy Origins, Research and Applications," described recent research supporting his biomedical theory of music therapy.
