Steve Baumgardner (emeritus) and Marie (Mickey) Crothers are pleased to announce the publication of their book, "Positive Psychology," by Pearson Publishing. The book reviews the research and theory related to the emerging area of positive psychology.  It is designed to serve as a primary text for an undergraduate college course in positive psychology. The relatively new field of positive psychology is focused on developing a psychological and sociocultural understanding of the meaning, the measure and the means to a "good life."  The book took nearly fours years to complete. Both Steve and Mickey thank UW-Eau Claire and the psychology department for their support of this project.

Fifteen UW-Eau Claire students from the behavioral emphasis in psychology attended the annual Mid-American Association for Behavior Analysis conference Oct. 3-4 in Champaign, Ill. Students presented results from four research projects sponsored by the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs. Kevin Klatt was named president of MABA for the 2008-09 academic year.
