'Pink Sheet' Notice of Meetings

Hibbard Penthouse is temporary Spectator office
The west half of the Hibbard Hall Penthouse will temporarily be occupied by the staff of The Spectator, UW-Eau Claire's student-produced newspaper, until their new office complex is finished. A partition (gray metal bookshelves) will divide the Penthouse in half for the temporary Spectator office.

The normal use of the Penthouse will be limited to allowing occupancy of:

  • 44 people, theatre style
  • 32 people, tables and chairs
  • 16  people, conference style

If confidentiality of meeting subject matter is a concern, campus groups are encouraged to find another meeting room. Those who use the Penthouse for lunch, to correct papers, or for small club meetings or other small events are asked to be courteous, quiet and considerate of the Spectator staff. Additionally, the Spectator staff is aware that the noise generated as a normal part of meetings is to be expected. They will make every effort to respect your meetings by keeping noise levels down.

Please contact Custodial Services at 836-5817 or facmgt.custodial.office@uwec.edu with all Penthouse concerns and reservations.Go to top of page

Faculty and staff are reminded that all cash and/or checks received on behalf of the university must be processed in a timely manner in accordance with UW-Eau Claire cash handling procedures. Use of university resources
Faculty and staff should be aware that pursuant to policies, including the Wisconsin Administrative Code, UWS 8, the Classified Employees Work Rules and the UW-Eau Claire Policy Book (section 5:16), university resources are to be used for official university business only. This includes the use of office supplies, equipment, telephone calls (local, long distance, STS and cell phones), photocopying and duplicating services and fleet vehicles. Reimbursement to the university by individuals (employees or students) or organizations for materials and services inappropriately used is not sufficient justification to ignore the restriction.
