UW-Eau Claire journalism student Janie Boschma, working as an intern at The Washington Post during January as the university's 2008 Devroy Fellow, had the opportunity to cover the historic inauguration of President Barack Obama. In addition to contributing to the Post's coverage before, during and after the Jan. 20 event, Boschma wrote articles about the experience for the Jan. 21 and Jan. 22 issues of the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram, where she is employed as a part-time reporter.
