Library Art Display. The works of members
of three area art organizations — the Eau Claire Area Art League, the
Valley Art Association and the Watercolor Club — are on display in the
Grand Corridor of McIntyre Library through Dec. 19. More

Foster Gallery BFA Exhibit. The
exhibit, featuring works by December bachelor of fine arts degree candidates,

'Mexico, Migration and Wisconsin' Symposium.
The UW-Eau Claire and Eau Claire communities
are invited to a student research symposium titled "Mexico, Migration
and Wisconsin." The symposium is based on field research conducted
by 13 students in a geography capstone class taught by Paul Kaldjian.

Coffman Nursing Lecture. Retired Lt. Col. Deanna Germain, U.S.
Army Reserve, nurse practitioner and co-author of "Reaching Past the
Wire: A Nurse at Abu Ghraib" will present "A Nurse at Abu Ghraib" during

Coffman Lecture. Germain, who received a master's degree in nursing
from UW-Eau Claire, will describe her experiences with the physical
and emotional difficulties that she and other nurses endured as they
cared for U.S. soldiers and Iraqi detainees at the Abu Ghraib prison
