Nominees sought for Classified Staff Excellence in Performance Award
The Classified Staff Awards Committee is inviting nominations for the Excellence in Performance Award to be given in fall 2008. The UW-Eau Claire Foundation will present $1,500 to the recipient. Faculty, staff or students may nominate a permanent, full-time or part-time (50 percent or more) member of the classified staff for the award. Nominations should be forwarded by April 21 to the Classified Staff Awards Committee, Chancellor's Office, Schofield 204. For additional information or nomination forms, call 836-2327.

Investment counseling to be offered April 8
Have you recently reviewed your investment portfolio or taken full advantage of your ability to invest in a 403(b)(7) plan? On Tuesday, April 8, a representative from Dreyfus will be available to help you review your existing portfolio and individual situation — including investment goals, time horizon and tolerance for risk — to help ensure that your plan assets are allocated properly to meet your retirement needs. The representative will be available during the following times April 8:

   • One on One Counseling: 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Arrowhead Room, Davies Center.
   • Workshop: noon to 1 p.m., Arrowhead Room, Davies Center.
