McIntyre Library logoMcIntyre Library Exhibit. An exhibit of posters illustrating UW-Eau Claire faculty and staff publications from the previous year will be on display in the Grand Corridor of McIntyre Library through Jan. 21. The posters were originally displayed at the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs/McIntyre Library-sponsored Authors Celebration in October. The event featured 40 recently published faculty and staff members and celebrated the publishing accomplishments of all UW-Eau Claire faculty and staff.

ColcannonArtists Series. The five-person acoustic band Colcannon will perform two Celtic holiday concerts. Playing old and new music in the Irish tradition, Colcannon has developed a unique contemporary style that remains in firm touch with the heart and essence of traditional Celtic music. kids reading a bookUniversity Bookstore Book Collection. The University Bookstore is working with the Friends of the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library in its Give a Kid a Book project for 2006. The University Bookstore will begin accepting books today, and will offer discounts on clothing and gift purchases to those who make donations. The bookstore will forward donations to the Friends of the Library on Dec. 14, but will continue to accept donations through Dec. 22. University Bookstore hours are available online.
