'Pink Sheet' Notice of Meetings

WHE continues annual gift project
For the past 15 years Women in Higher Education has sponsored the Holiday Gift Program, a gift giving project for low-income, nontraditional-age and traditional-age students and their families. Last year's project reached 101 children, representing 44 families. In addition, more than $900 in cash for grocery gift certificates was collected.

WHE recently sent a mailing to nontraditional-age students inviting them to place their names on a gift "wish" list. The project also is open to traditional-age students who are parents, but since it's difficult to identify those among that group who may be interested in participating, your assistance in forwarding their names would be appreciated. Students who respond are asked to provide the ages of their children and their choice of gifts (a toy, article of clothing, etc.) in the $15 range.

If you would like to make a donation, checks (payable to WHE/Holiday Gift Program) may be sent/brought to Patti See, Academic Skills Center, Old Library 2112.
