UW-Eau Claire alumna Marti Mogensen was quoted in the article "School violence a tie that binds" in the Oct. 4 issue of The Capital Times. The article also mentions the UW-Eau Claire lecture series that Mogensen and her sister, Margaret Nelson, created to honor their father, Martin Mogensen, a UW-Eau Claire alumnus who was killed in 1969 by a student in the Tomah school where he served as principal.
