Todd Glaser, head Blugold football coach, was quoted in the Sept. 29 Janesville Gazette article, "Tragedy part of Glaser's return," about the August death of team member Mike Plese. The Sept. 28 conference "Thinking Small: Nanotechnology and the American Dream” was the subject of the Sept. 29 Leader-Telegram article "Nanotechnology applications still tiny." The conference highlighted work in nanotechnology at UW-Eau Claire, UW-Stout, UW-Madison and the Chippewa Valley Technical College. Justin Patchin, political science, was quoted in the article "Cyber-bullying on the rise, researchers find — Online ugliness changes adolescent pecking order" in the Sept. 28 issue of The Capital (Annapolis, Md.) Rodd Freitag, political science, was quoted in the Sept. 27 Wiscnews.com article "Poll shows Doyle ahead of Green by five points." Paul Kaldjian, geography and anthropology, was quoted in the Sept. 25 Winona Daily News article "Farmers learning Spanish: Buffalo County program offers insight on area farm workers." Jodi Thesing-Ritter, Student Development and Diversity, and UW-Eau Claire student Leah Mielke were quoted in the Sept. 24 Leader-Telegram article "Online news links parents with UW-EC." The
