Tuesday, Aug. 22
UW-Eau Claire seal'Gettin' in the Groove' All-Employee Breakfast and Opening Meeting. All UW-Eau Claire employees are invited to attend today's "Gettin' in the Groove" all-employee breakfast and opening meeting in Zorn Arena. Breakfast will be served starting at 7:30 a.m., and the meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. The meeting will include Chancellor Brian Levin-Stankevich's state-of-the-university address, as well as the presentation of the annual faculty and staff excellence awards. An alternate meeting for employees who cannot attend today's event will be held Aug. 23.

Planetarium Program. Tonight's show, "The Stargazer," about becoming an astronomer, is narrated by the voice of Uhura from the original Start Trek series.
