Random Acts of Kindness Week. UW-Eau Claire's Campus Civility Team invites faculty, staff and students to recognize and celebrate various acts of kindness during National Random Acts of Kindness Week, Feb. 12-18. More information.

Foster Gallery imageFoster Gallery Exhibit. A show titled "Limited Editions, Infinite Possibilities," is an exhibition by visual and literary artists from Wisconsin and Minnesota who work with various printmaking processes. The exhibition, on display through Feb. 15, combines poetry, prose and stories with woodcuts, wood engravings, linocuts, letterpress broadsides and books, serigraphs and illustrated children's books. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays, 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays and 1 to 4:30 p.m. weekends. More information.

'Study Abroad: Sweet!' Event. Study abroad information tables will be set up in Governors, Murray, Oak Ridge, Putnam, Katherine Thomas, Towers-North and Towers-South residence halls from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The tables will be stocked with brochures and sweet treats and staffed by students who have returned from study abroad experiences in Australia, England, South Africa, Sweden, Thailand and other countries. Evidence dance companyArtists Series/Black History Month Event. Tonight's performance features Ronald K. Brown and the Evidence dance company. Evidence's Afro-Caribbean contemporary dance amalgam, marked by sweeping gestures, intricate patterns and spiritual earthiness, speaks to the black experience both past and present. Choreographer Brown blends African, modern, ballet and hip-hop dance styles to tell stories about what is important about the human experience. Tickets, available at the Service Center, are $15 for the public, $13 for those 62 and older and UW System/CVTC faculty/staff, or $5 for those 17 and younger and UW System/CVTC students. Blugold Athletics logoCourt 'n Rink Luncheon. The Court 'n Rink Luncheons will feature Blugold basketball coaches Tonja Englund and Terry Gibbons and hockey coaches Mike Collins and Luke Strand. Two of the four will speak each week through Feb. 20 about their teams' performances. Gibbons and Collins will speak today. The cost for the luncheon is $6 per person and includes a sandwich, cookie and beverage provided by Mancino's.
