Super Bowl advertising research by Chuck Tomkovick and Rama Yelkur, management and marketing, was cited in a sidebar titled "Breaking Down the Ads," which accompanied the Feb. 2 New York Times article "Colts and Bears and Kevin Federline." Their research also was the focus of the Feb. 2 WQOW-TV story "Super Research on Super Bowl Ads" and was mentioned in the Jan. 26 Advertising Age article "Super Bowl Delivers for Summer Blockbusters — Study: Smaller Movies Airing in Spring Don't Do as Well." Susan Turell, women's studies/psychology, UW-Eau Claire student Amy Oldakowski and alumnus Dan McNeely were guests on the Wisconsin Public Radio show "The West Side" Jan. 30. They discussed the new women's studies major at UW-Eau Claire and other issues related to gender justice. Go to top of page
