Resources available for end-of-semester stress
A number of campus resources are available to assist UW-Eau Claire students throughout the year. However, during Finals Week, students may find the following departments especially helpful:

Classified Staff Day set for Jan. 11
UW-Eau Claire classified staff members are invited to attend Classified Staff Day Wednesday, Jan. 11. The event, which will include a keynote speaker, lunch and a variety of workshops, will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Davies Center. Keynote speaker Tom Kidd will present "Personal Rejuvenation for a Happier, Healthier and Even More Successful Life." Kidd is a professional motivational and educational speaker with more than 25 years of teaching experience as a middle school teacher in the Eau Claire Area School District and as an adjunct faculty member at UW-Eau Claire, UW-La Crosse and Viterbo University. Following Kidd's presentation, participants can attend three workshop sessions. Classified Staff Day is sponsored by the UW-Eau Claire Classified Staff Committee for Professional Development. 'Let's Do Lunch' presentation to be held Dec. 28
Crispin Pierce, public health professions, will present "Balancing Act: Planning for a Sustainable Wisconsin" during a noon-hour session hosted by the Alumni Association. The event will be held Wednesday, Dec. 28, from noon to 1 p.m. at Sweetwaters Restaurant in Eau Claire. The cost is $10 per person and includes the presentation, buffet, beverage, tax and tip.
