Final exam schedule available online
The final exam schedule for the fall 2005 semester is available online. An official individualized exam schedule also is available through the Blugold system. For more information, contact Marge Frankenberger at frankema@uwec.edu or 836-3838.
Finals Week test scoring/grade collection information
Finals Week at UW-Eau Claire is Dec. 16 and 19-22. Tests should be brought to the Help Desk in Old Library 1144 for scoring during the following days and times:
• Friday, Dec. 16: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Sunday, Dec. 18: 1 to 10 p.m.
• Monday-Thursday, Dec. 19-22: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Friday, Dec. 23: 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, Dec. 27: 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Registrar’s Office in Schofield 128 will collect grades from 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 16, 19-23 and 27. The grade reporting deadline is 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27.

Jennifer Shaddock had her article “Dreams of Melanesia: Masculinity and the Exorcism of War in Pat Barker’s 'The Ghost Road'” accepted for publication in Modern Fiction Studies. 
Foreign Languages
José Valero recently had his book reviews of José Cadalso's "Anales de cinco días" (Annals of Five Days) and Jesús Pérez Magallón's "El teatro neoclásico" (Neoclassic Theater) published in "ECCB: The Eighteenth-Century Current Bibliography," edited by Kevin L. Cope and Robert C. Leitz, Vol. 27, New York, AMS Press, 2005, pages 267-268 and 283-286.
Geography and Anthropology
Harry Jol co-authored a paper with UW-Eau Claire student Jenifer Bode titled "In Search of a Missing Child: A Geophysical Investigation of a Cemetery." The paper was presented at the Geological Society of America's 39th Annual Meeting of the North-Central Section May 19-20 in Minneapolis.
Nursing Systems
M. Cecilia Wendler recently had the second edition of her book "The HeART of Nursing: Expressions of Creative Art in Nursing" published by Sigma Theta Tau International. Information about the book is available online.
Condolences
Condolences to the family of Roberta Lewis. Lewis, who taught English at UW-Eau Claire from 1964-66, died Nov. 24 in Eau Claire. Lewis' husband was the late L. Rhodes Lewis, professor emeritus of music and theatre arts. Full obituary.
