McNair scholars to make colloquia presentations
On consecutive Wednesdays from Nov. 30 through Dec. 21, UW-Eau Claire McNair scholars will present their research from 5 to 6:50 p.m. in Room 227 of the Nursing Building. Eric Ewan and Shantih Spanton will present Nov. 30. Ewan, who worked with faculty mentor Gregory Madden (formerly of the psychology department), will present "Toward an Animal Modeling of Gambling." Spanton, who works with faculty mentor Matthew Evans, physics and astronomy, will present "Tempered Deposition Study of Co on As-rich GaAs(001) c(4x4)." 
Dulany holiday buffet set for Dec. 14
The Dulany Inn will offer a holiday buffet from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dec. 14. The buffet will include carved beef, Santa's stuffed pork chops, Mrs. Claus' stuffed cheese shells, chicken wild rice casserole, several vegetable dishes, fruit salads and desserts. Cost is $7.25 per person. Call 836-5261 for reservations.
