UW-Eau Claire alumna Melissa Prepster will appear on the television game show "Jeopardy" Oct. 7. The Singing Statesmen were mentioned in the Sept. 29 WQOW-TV story "Passport Problems: Students Keep An Eye on the South." Nobuyoshi Yasuda, music and theatre arts, was quoted in the Sept. 29 Leader-Telegram article "CVSO starts season with Beethoven." Jane Pederson, history, was quoted in the Sept. 29 Leader-Telegram article "Working women — Book details city's prostitution past." The UW-Eau Claire news release "UW-Eau Claire's Health Care Administration Program Receives National Accreditation" was reprinted online Sept. 29 at wisbusiness.com. UW-Eau Claire students were mentioned in the Sept. 27 Chippewa Herald article "Camp brings life to victims of brain injuries." Eric Jamelske, economics, was quoted in the Sept. 27 Leader-Telegram article "Strategist: Fed rate hikes risky — Increases could spur recession, expert says."
UW-Eau Claire student Adam Griggel, a meningitis survivor, was interviewed on WEAU-TV Sept. 26. The story can be viewed by following the "Surviving Meningitis" video link on the WEAU-TV home page. The UW-Eau Claire news release about the chemistry department's recent National Science Foundation grants appeared in the Sept. 26 issue of Wisconsin Technology News. UW-Eau Claire alumnus Dan Held was quoted in the Sept. 25 Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article "Getting off to a running start — Keller claims crown in his Al's Run debut." Crispin Pierce, public health professions, was quoted in the Sept. 19 Leader-Telegram article "UW-EC graduate program accredited." |
