Sean Yengo, head coach of the UW-Eau Claire soccer team, and several team members were quoted in the Sept. 16 Leader-Telegram article "Getting defensive."

UW-Eau Claire nursing students Rana Dickson, Raeann Nargiz and Marcella Robinson were named as scholarship recipients in the Sept. 16 online news release "Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wisconsin Foundation and the Wisconsin League for Nursing award more than $25,000 in nursing scholarships."

The Synergy Conference, hosted by UW-Eau Claire Sept. 14 and 15 was featured in the Sept. 15 Leader-Telegram articles "Business leaders share advice — Conference panel aimed at boosting regional growth" and "Gunderson seeks education support — Area losing college grads."

Nina Albanese-Kotar, Center for Alcohol Studies and Education/Counseling Services, was quoted in the Sept. 13 Leader-Telegram article "UW-EC to fight drinking — Collaborative effort required, school official tells council."
