The UW System Board of Regents’ resolutions to lower nonresident student tuition and to adjust executive salaries were discussed in the Feb. 10 Badger Herald article "Nonresident tuition may decrease."

Gov. Doyle's Wisconsin Covenant college financial aid plan was the subject of the Feb. 9 WQOW-TV story "Pledge Price Tag Could Reach $63 Million."

The Feb. 8 Leader-Telegram article "Alcohol a community woe — Speakers say everyone affected" discussed presentations by Tom Workman about reducing alcohol abuse among minors and college students. Workman spoke in Eau Claire and at UW-Eau Claire Feb. 7 and 8.

UW-Eau Claire's Internship Mania was the subject of the Feb. 8 WEAU-TV story "Getting an Internship."

Jeanne Skoug, Career Services, and UW-Eau Claire student Becky Hoppe were interviewed for the Feb. 6 WQOW-TV story "Facebook: Changing the Face of Job Hiring." She also discussed UW-Eau Claire's Internship Mania Feb. 8 and the trend that over the past 10 years the number of UW-Eau Claire students remaining in the Chippewa Valley after graduation has almost doubled.

Jodi Thesing-Ritter, Student Development and Diversity , was interviewed for the Feb. 6 Wisconsin Public Radio story "Surveying the Cheating Landscape on Campus."

Mary Farrell, Health Services, and UW-Eau Claire student Mark Frie were interviewed for the WEAU-TV story "Study: 'Freshman 15' is All in Your Head."
