Following his UW-Eau Claire Alumni Association “Let’s Do Lunch” presentation titled “Balancing Act: Planning for a Sustainable Wisconsin,” Crispin Pierce, public health professions, was invited by Mary Jo Wagner, host of the Wisconsin Public Radio show “The West Side,” to be a guest on Jan. 24 show. During the show Pierce explained concepts of sustainability, long-term energy use, lower-impact transportation and “smart growth” urban planning. The program is available through the WPR archives.
