Dick Boyum (emeritus), Counseling Services, will be a guest on the WEAU-TV 5 p.m. newscast Dec. 21 to discuss holiday stress and depression.

Nobuyoshi Yasuda, music and theatre arts, was interviewed on WQOW-TV Dec. 9 about the Dec. 11 Chippewa Valley Symphony concert.

Stephanie Zighelboim, Multicultural Affairs, and her family were featured in a Dec. 7 WEAU-TV story about Hannukah.

UW-Eau Claire student Katie Murphy, a member of the Blugold Women's Basketball Team, was interviewed for the Dec. 7 WEAU-TV story "Student Athletes Help the Community."

UW-Eau Claire student Shannon Krueger, a member of the Army National Guard, was quoted in the Dec. 5 La Crosse Tribune article "Army thanks 107th for stateside service." The article also was reprinted in the Dec. 8 Juneau County Star-Times.

Jeff Oliphant, kinesiology, was quoted in the Dec. 7 Leader-Telegram article "Steroids don't make the man."

Jack Bushnell, English, was quoted in the Dec. 2 Leader-Telegram article "Place in history — Two books by local authors help bring to life an exhibit about farm life."

Chancellor Donald Mash was quoted in the Dec. 2 Leader-Telegram article "Regional small business center to open at UW-EC."

Richard Nimke, music and theatre arts, was quoted in the Dec. 2 Leader-Telegram article "Play highlights sister acts of love, resentment — UW-Eau Claire show tackles humor, tragedy," about "Crimes of the Heart," the play Nimke recently directed at UW-Eau Claire.

Bob Hollon, curriculum and instruction, was interviewed for a WEAU-TV story, which aired Nov. 24, about the decision to allow the teaching of intelligent design and creationism in the science curriculum in Grantsburg.
