Dick Boyum (emeritus), Counseling Services, will discuss how to manage holiday stress on the Wisconsin Public Radio show "Conversations with Larry Meiller" Dec. 7. Boyum's portion of the show can be heard on WHWC, 88.3 FM from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. that day. Go to top of page

The Wisconsin Entrepreneur's Network, a joint effort among UW Extension, the WiSys Technology Foundation, the Wisconsin Technical College System and the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection was the subject of the following news stories: "Participants hope for state business growth," Green Bay News-Chronicle Nov. 30; Gov. Doyle Announces Creation of Wisconsin Entrepreneurs Network, Nov. 29; and Leg Up for a Start-up, WQOW-TV Nov. 29. UW-Eau Claire was selected as one of four regional centers for the network. Alice Bayerl, Educational Support Services, was quoted in the Nov. 28 Leader-Telegram article "Turn of the Scrooge — Members of the Menomonie Theater Guild say laughs are generous in a comedy about amateur actors stumbling through 'A Christmas Carol.'
