Faculty and Academic Staff Handbook revisions approved
Revisions to Chapter 5 of the Faculty and Academic Staff Handbook have been approved. Those revisions and all future revisions to the 21st edition of the handbook can be found online.

Holiday Gift Program continues to accept donations
For the past 14 years Women in Higher Education has sponsored the Holiday Gift Program, a gift giving project for low-income, nontraditional-age and traditional-age UW-Eau Claire students and their families. Last year 148 children and parents received gifts. In addition, more than $800 in cash was collected, which was converted to gift certificates for groceries.

As a result of the widespread response from faculty and staff members this year, a sufficient number of people will be buying gifts. However, the program will continue to accept monetary donations for grocery gift certificates.

Trip to Chanhassen Dinner Theater planned
University Recreation is planning a trip to the Chanhassen Dinner Theater Feb. 10, 2005, for a performance of the musical comedy "Anything Goes." The cost of the trip is $50 per person and includes round-trip transportation from campus, dinner and front-row seating for the show.
