Lawrence Martin, American Indian Studies; and Odawa White, Office of Multicultural Affairs; will discuss the influence of the Native American communities in west central Wisconsin on Wisconsin Public Radio April 7. Tarique Niazi, sociology, was quoted in the March 17 Pacific News Service article “Could China’s Quest for Oil Calm Central Asia’s Militants?” The quote was obtained from Niazi's article “Gwadar: China’s Naval Outpost on Indian Ocean,” originally published in China Brief: A Journal of News and Analysis published by the Washington, D.C.-based Jamestown Foundation.
