Free foreign language classes for children to be held
UW-Eau Claire students currently enrolled in the curriculum and instruction course "Teaching Foreign Languages in Grades 1-9" will offer free introductory French and Spanish classes for children in grades 1 through 5. Classes will meet Thursdays, March 17-May 12, from 4:10 to 4:50 p.m. in Hibbard Hall. Classes will not be held March 24, during UW-Eau Claire's spring recess.

Proposed changes in College of Business

The College of Business Curriculum Committee has approved the following changes relating to the required courses within the Entrepreneur Program emphasis (code 820-002):

From: Pages 171-172 of the 2004-05 undergraduate catalogue Entrepreneur Program Emphasis (code 820-002)
Required Courses (27 credits)
To: At least 60 semester credits, including the BUSCORE plus 28 additional credits as listed below:
BSAD 280, Applied Quantitative Methods (remains the same).
ACCT 312, Managerial Accounting (new requirement).
MKTG 334, Marketing Research (new requirement).
MGMT 494, Topics in Leadership (new requirement).
MGMT 405, Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship, 4 credits (replaces MGMT 401, Entrepreneur I, 12 credits).
MGMT 406, Practical Entrepreneurship, 4 credits (replaces MGMT 401, Entrepreneur I, 12 credits).
MGMT 415, Advanced Entrepreneurship, 4 credits (replaces MGMT 402, Entrepreneur II, 12 credits).
MGMT 416, Business Plan Considerations for Entrepreneurs, 4 credits (replaces MGMT 402, Entrepreneur II, 12 credits).

Electives in the College of Business (2 credits). Students are encouraged to consider courses that will lead to a
