Mitra Sadeghpour and Robert Knight, music and theatre arts, and UW-Eau Claire student Marilyn Spiess were quoted in the Feb. 24 Leader-Telegram article "Puccini pair — UW-EC students and faculty work together on two one-act operas."

UW-Eau Claire student Kara Kangas was quoted in the Feb. 24 Leader-Telegram article "Political baptism — UW-Eau Claire senior interns at White House."

Elaine Wendt, College of Nursing and Health Sciences, and UW-Eau Claire alumna Faye Deich, chief nursing officer at Sacred Heart Hospital, were quoted in the February 2005 Chippewa Valley B2B article "Vocational void — Lack of nurses with advanced degrees yields teaching shortage."
