Todd Hoffner, kinesiology and athletics, was quoted in the Nov. 30 Pioneer Press article "University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire: 'I thought I had lost him'" about recovering Blugold football player Justin Greenwood. Also, Hoffner and several Blugold football players appeared on WEAU-TV last weekend to talk about Greenwood. Erica Eul, Center

Turell, women's studies and psychology, was quoted in the Nov.
29 Leader-Telegram article "Sexual
assault hotline to help victims at UW-EC." Dick Palm, geography
professor emeritus, was featured in the Nov. 29 Leader-Telegram article
"Palm
out of weather business." Katie Murphy,
a UW-Eau Claire junior, was featured in the Nov. 25 Leader-Telegram
article "Celebrating
survival." Murphy, a childhood leukemia survivor, served
as master of ceremonies at the Nov. 29 Kids With Courage III Reunion
in Madison. Katherine Schneider,
Counseling Services, was interviewed on WEAU-TV Nov. 24 about the
Give a Kid a Book project. Schneider is president of the Friends of
the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library in Eau Claire. Harry Jol,
geography and anthropology,
had his research featured in an article titled "Wisconsin professor
helps explore place where 'Judaism was saved'" in the Oct. 3
issue of the Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle. |
