School Kits for Iraq Collections. The UW-Eau Claire Geography Club will collect and assemble school kits for children in Iraq and several other countries through Dec. 13 in Room 266 of Phillips Hall. Full story.

Foster Gallery Exhibit. Featuring "Crossing Dimensions: Differing Views of Power and Solitude," an exhibit of drawings by Robert Stackhouse and sculptures by John McQueen, which show images and vessels that project a ghost-like interplay of strength, isolation and contemplation. The exhibit will be on display through Nov. 26 in the Foster Gallery of the Haas Fine Arts Center. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays, 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays and 1 to 4:30 p.m. weekends.

ITM Workshop. A workshop on Photoshop Basics will be presented. For detailed information or to register, visit the ITM Web site.

Joint Student Recital. Featuring Rick Cedergren, tenor, and Jesus Martinez, bass-baritone. Phillips Recital Hall, Haas Fine Arts Center, 5 p.m.

Women’s Chorus/Vocal Jazz Ensemble Concert. Women’s Chorus, directed by Gary Schwartzhoff and Alan Rieck, and Vocal Jazz Ensemble, directed by Daniel Newman, will perform a variety of works. Tickets, available at the Service Center and at the door, are $3.75 for the public, $2.75 for those 62 and older and 17 and younger, or free for UW-Eau Claire faculty, staff and students. Planetarium Program. Featuring "The Stargazer," a show that will explore gravity, light and spectra, and how they help us understand stars. Tickets are $1 and must be purchased in advance at the Service Center. L.E. Phillips Planetarium, 7 p.m.

Wrestling. Luther College (Iowa) at McPhee, 7 p.m.

Informational Meeting for Spain Trip. Roma Hoff (emerita), foreign languages, is planning to lead a group trip to Spain March 19-28, 2004, or March 19-April 4, 2004.
