Services, and UW-Eau Claire student Joe Eaton were quoted in the Oct.
15 Leader-Telegram article "Examining
careers," about UW-Eau Claire's new program that will allow
pre-med students to connect with area doctors. Dale B. Taylor,
allied health professions, and UW-Eau Claire alumnus Diane Knight
were guests on Wisconsin Public Radio Oct. 14. During the interview,
which also was broadcast on National Public Radio, Taylor and Knight
discussed the use of music to promote positive changes in human psychological,
social, physiological and physical functioning. They also discussed
their presentation on music and the brain for an upcoming American
Music Therapy Association conference, music therapy with Alzheimer's
patients and academic preparation for the music therapy field. Alexandre Dossin,
music and theatre arts, was featured in the Oct. 12 Minneapolis Star
Tribune story "Brav-Eau Claire" about Dossin's recent gold-medal
win in the Martha Argerich International Piano competition in Buenos
Aires, Argentina. |
