Chancellor Donald Mash was quoted in the Oct. 9 Leader-Telegram article "Proposal gives nonresidents tuition break — Alumni descendants sought."

Kimberly Barrett, Student Development and Diversity, was featured and quoted in the Oct. 6 Leader-Telegram article "Diversifying campus — UW-EC leader wants to promote understanding." Ron Satz, academic affairs, and UW-Eau Claire Student Senate President Adrian Klenz also were quoted in the article.

Roger Tlusty, foundations of education, was interviewed on WEAU-TV Oct. 6 about the U.S. Department of Education summit on high school reform he attended Oct. 8 in Washington, D.C.

Joseph Rohrer, biology, was cited in the "Getting Out" section of the Sept. 19 Leader Telegram for identifying a fungus in a photograph and commenting on its edibility. Rohrer also was interviewed about fall leaf color on "Northwood Adventures" on WQOW-TV Oct. 4.
