and theatre arts, is featured in an article titled Dick Boyum, Counseling
Services, was quoted in the May 9 Leader-Telegram article "Some
'Frasier' advice useful, therapists say — But comedy, not counseling,
seen as show's forte." Mike Rindo, University
Communications, was quoted in the May 9 Leader-Telegram article "City
may create university parking study committee." Chancellor Donald Mash
was quoted in the May 6 Leader-Telegram story "UW-Eau
Claire shakes up departments, administration." Alan Rieck, music
and theatre arts, was a guest on the Wisconsin Public Radio show "Spectrum
West" May 6 to discuss the May 9 Symphonic Choir/Symphony Orchestra
concert. Geoffrey Peterson,
political science, was interviewed on WEAU-TV May 4 about John Kerry's
advertising campaign. Suzanne DeCann,
one of the first 11 students to earn an MBA from UW-Eau Claire completely
online, and MBA program director Robert
Erffmeyer, were quoted in the May 3 Wisconsin Technology Network
article "UW-Eau
Claire graduates first online MBAs." Brent Hensel, a
UW-Eau Claire graduate student who is working on an oral history project
of baseball great Harold "Diz" Kronenberg, was quoted in
the May 2 Leader-Telegram article "Baseball
history celebrated — Dedication planned for Carson Park."
Sean Hartnett,
geography and anthropology, was quoted in the May 1 Leader-Telegram
article "Call
for the wild — Students aid effort to preserve undeveloped shorelines,"
about the wild lakeshore mapping project he and his students will
pursue this summer. |
