Guaranteed faculty/staff parking
information
Applications for guaranteed faculty/staff parking
for the 2004-05 academic year have been distributed by campus mail to
all employees. Employees who currently have GF permits must submit new
applications.

Summer Session
payment information
Unclassified Academic Appointments
Academic year employees will receive their final academic year paychecks
June 1. Summer session salaries (including
the three-week session) are paid in two equal installments on Aug. 1
and Sept. 1, unless otherwise specified in contracts. For individuals
to receive payments for summer work, a summer contract must be prepared.
Contracts should be signed and returned promptly. The signed contract
must go through regular channels and be received by the Human Resources
office by the 10th of the month prior to the pay date. Questions should
be directed to department chairs or the Office of Academic Affairs at
836-2033.
Reminder to Supervisors of Unclassified,
Short-Term Employees
If you intend to hire unclassified, short-term employees (those who
are not current, ongoing employees), proper paperwork must be submitted
through regular channels. Individuals who are employed for short terms
may be eligible for payment with the Payment to Individual Report; others
may require a contract to be issued and returned with all of the appropriate
payroll documents. Completed documentation must be received in the Human
Resources office by the 10th of the month prior to the pay date. No
exceptions to this policy are possible. Questions regarding the Payment
to Individual Report process may be directed to Vickie Gardner, Business
Services, at 836-4528. Questions regarding the contracting process may
be directed to Barb Hanson, Academic Affairs, at 836-5040.
