Modem pool
phone number to change
The UW-Eau Claire modem pool phone number, 836-5990, will be disconnected
on April 19. A DiscoverNet phone number,
830-1040, will replace the old number.
Modem pool users must update the phone number their modem dials. The
new number is available immediately, and Computing and Networking Services
staff members recommend that users make the change as soon as possible.
The phone number update completes the modem pool outsourcing that began
in May 2003.
If you need assistance or experience problems using
the new number, call DiscoverNet at 830-1500 or the CNS Help Desk at
836-5711.
University
Bookstore textbook order information

to have been submitted to the University Bookstore by March 19. Rental

potential problems.
• notify instructors about publisher stock
situations, edition changes and out-of-print titles.
• pay students half price for their purchase
course books at buyback.
Instructors may call 836-3125 or visit the University
Bookstore for assistance.
