2003 Give a Kid a Book Project
a success
The
Friends of the L. E. Phillips Memorial Public Library wish to thank
UW-Eau Claire faculty, staff and students for their generous contributions
to the 2003 Give a Kid a Book project. Through the project, more than
800 children’s books and dictionaries were distributed to needy
families in Eau Claire.
Special thanks to the following organizations:
the University Bookstore, the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Holiday Concerts,
Mortar Board, Association of Student Social Workers, Student Wisconsin
Education Association and residence hall leadership organizations. Because
of your generosity, children and families throughout Eau Claire are
enjoying new books this winter.
University Bookstore
to sell instructional resource rental materials
The University Bookstore is clearing out its
inventory of instructional resource rental materials throughout the
semester. This is a great time for students, faculty and staff to stock
their professional libraries. The selection will change every day, so
stop by often. All books are $1.
