If members of the media have interviewed you, e-mail Liz Wolf Green at greenew@uwec.edu, so she may share the news with University Bulletin readers. Following are examples of UW-Eau Claire people and programs that recently appeared in the media. Kevin Klatt, psychology,
was quoted in the April 27 St. Paul Pioneer Press article, "Breaking
the silence," about the autism program at UW-Eau Claire and the
budget cuts that are threatening early intervention programs for autistic
children. Read
the story. Elaine Wendt,
School of Nursing, was quoted in the April 20 Leader-Telegram article,
"Nursing programs can't match demand." Wendt, Lois
Taft, Nursing Systems, and Andrew
Soll, Business and Student Services,
were quoted in a related article, "A shot in the arm for nursing,"
which appeared in the April 22 Leader-Telegram. James Brummer,
philosophy and religious studies, was quoted in the April 17 Leader-Telegram
article, "Student interest surges over philosophy class,"
about philosophy classes offered at Memorial High School in Eau Claire.
UW-Eau Claire students serve as assistants and mentors for the classes.
