Featuring "More Than Meets the Eye," a show that compares naked-eye views of celestial objects with the views from binoculars, small/medium telescopes and professional observatories. Primary posterSummer Cinema. Featuring the films "Primary" (US 1960, directed by Robert Drew, 60 min., not rated) and "Crisis" (US 1963, directed by Robert Drew, 52 min., not rated). "Primary," the first cinéma vérité, follows John F. Kennedy and Hubert Humphrey as they campaign in the 1960 Wisconsin Presidential primary. The film "Crisis" presents John and Robert Kennedy's June 1963 confrontation with Gov. George Wallace, who vows to personally block the admission of two black students to the University of Alabama.
