Summer Fitness Classes. A number of fitness classes will be offered on campus during Summer Session. See complete schedule.
Jazz at Noon. The Jazz at Noon series concludes with shows by the John Raymond Combo (Monday-Tuesday), the Josh Gallagher Group (Wednesday), and the Randy Pingrey Combo (Thursday-Friday). A variety of grilled lunch items will be sold. Central Campus Mall (rain site: The Cabin, Davies Center), noon to 1 p.m. Weekdays through June 30.
Music on the Mall. Tonight's show will feature the Billy Krause Trio, a three-man acoustic group that performs both familiar and obscure, but always enjoyable, non-mainstream music. Audience members are invited to bring blankets or folding chairs for lawn seating. Free popcorn will be provided and other refreshments will be sold. Television Series Featuring UW-Eau Claire Alumnus. UW-Eau Claire alumnus Scott Standiford will appear on "Dream Season," a deer hunting reality show that will air beginning today on The Outdoor Channel. As part of the series, Standiford took UW-Eau Claire wrestling coach Don Parker hunting for the first time since Parker was paralyzed in a 1998 hunting accident. ‘Let’s Do Lunch!’ Presentation. Justin Patchin, political science, will present "Cyberbullying Among Adolescents: What Parents Need to Know" during a noon-hour session hosted by the Alumni Association. Faculty Member on WPR. Phillip Ostrander, music and theatre arts, and his wife, Allison, were interviewed in May for a Wisconsin Public Radio story on Wisconsin musicians. The interview will air today at 7:30 a.m. on WUEC, 89.7 FM.
