The UW-Eau Claire Counseling Services Web site was listed as a resource in Susan Fee's new book, "My Roommate Is Driving Me Crazy! Solve Conflicts, Set Boundaries and Survive the College Roommate from Hell," published by Adams Media. The book matches college roommate stories with useful advice on conflict resolution.

Geography and Anthropology
Garry Running attended the Canqua conference of the Canadian Quaternary Association June 5-8 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He also participated in the post-meeting field trip, and organized and presented one of the field trip stops. The reference to Running's presentation was noted in the field trip guidebook as follows: Running IV, G.L. 2005. Stop 5: Glacial Lake Hind Basin, Atkinson Site. In, Quaternary Geology, Sedimentology, Geomorphology and History of Southern Manitoba, Canqua Annual Meeting Post-meeting Field trip Guidebook, pages 27-38, James T. Teller and Gaywood Matile, editors. The presentation was based on work by Running, Karen Havholm (Geology), UW-Eau Claire student Mark Nelson and UW-Eau Claire alumni Jessica Lopez, Nicole Bergstrom, Adam Lange and Sarah Buss.
