J. Scott Kilgallon, athletics, and Carole Halberg, UW-Eau Claire Foundation, were quoted in the July 22 Leader-Telegram article "Turf project gets under way — Teams have plans if field isn't ready on time."

Katherine Rhoades, School of Education, was interviewed on WEAU-TV July 15 about a recent report which ranked teachers' salaries by state. Rhoades also was interviewed June 22 for a WQOW-TV story about academic "summer slump,” the effect on academic progress of K-12 students who do not read and write during the summer.
