Summer Fitness Classes. A variety of free fitness classes will be offered during summer session. Hydrorobics — Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:15-7:15 a.m., McPhee Pool; Combo Class — Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:15-7:15 a.m., McPhee 127; Spinning — Mondays and Wednesdays, 5-6 p.m.; and Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30-6:30 p.m., McPhee 127; Step and Strength — Mondays and Tuesdays, 4-5 p.m., McPhee 127; Hi/Low Toning (June 10-July 3) Tuesdays and Thursdays, noon-12:45 p.m., Zorn Arena; and Deep Water Hydrorobics — Wednesdays, 6:15-7:15 a.m., McPhee Pool. On-site seated massage and table massage are available during Summer Session. Call 836-3377 to make an appointment or visit the University Recreation Web site for more information.

Music on the Mall. Featuring ethnic flutist Peter Phippen. A professional musician for the past 25 years, Phippen spent his early career days as a bass guitarist and recording artist. But in 1987 his first flute — a 25-cent bamboo whistle — found its way into his hands, and wooden flutes became his solo instruments of choice.
