Summer Fitness Classes. A variety of free fitness classes will be offered during summer session. Hydrorobics — Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:15-7:15 a.m., McPhee Pool; Combo Class — Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:15-7:15 a.m., McPhee 127; Spinning — Mondays and Wednesdays, 5-6 p.m.; and Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30-6:30 p.m., McPhee 127; Step and Strength — Mondays and Tuesdays, 4-5 p.m., McPhee 127; Hi/Low Toning (June 10-July 3) — Tuesdays and Thursdays, noon-12:45 p.m., Zorn Arena; and Deep Water Hydrorobics — Wednesdays, 6:15-7:15 a.m., McPhee Pool. Music on the Mall. Featuring ethnic flutist Peter Phippen. A professional musician for the past 25 years, Phippen spent his early career days as a bass guitarist and recording artist. But in 1987 his first flute — a 25-cent bamboo whistle — found its way into his hands, and wooden flutes became his solo instruments of choice. Audience members are invited to bring blankets or folding chairs for lawn seating. Central Campus Mall (rain site: Schofield Auditorium), 7 p.m.

Summer Cinema. "Ghost World." (U.S. 2001, directed by Terry Zwigoff, 111 minutes, rated R.) This film is a quirky drama about two ultra-hip and cynical best friends who face an uncertain future after graduating high school. Davies Theatre, noon and 7 p.m. Also June 12.
