Sean M. Coleman, 19, of Hampshire, Ill.,
died Sunday, April 21, 2002, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire of
complications related to bacterial meningococcal disease. Born June 16, 1982, in
Medford, Sean was the son of Michael L. and Antoinette (Thomas) Coleman.
Sean was a 2000 graduate of Rib Lake High
School and currently was a sophomore computer science major at UW-Eau Claire. He
was very active in the youth group at college and involved with the Boy Scouts
of America, attending camps and serving as camp counselor.
Sean loved sports, including basketball,
cross country running, track and field, and cross country skiing. He enjoyed
music and was learning to play the guitar.
He is survived by his father, Michael of Rib Lake; his mother, Toni Coleman of
Hampshire, Ill.; three sisters, Kathleen Coleman of Las Vegas, Nev., Lisa
Coleman of Muncie, Ind., and his twin, Erin Coleman of Hampshire, Ill.; his
great-grandfather, Tom Morris of Sycamore, Ill.; and numerous aunts, uncles and
cousins.
Visitation and a funeral service will be
held Thursday, April 25, 2002, at Butala Funeral Home and Crematory in Sycamore,
Ill. Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. with the funeral service immediately
following. The Rev. Kathy Lawes will officiate. Burial will be at Mount Carmel
Cemetery in Sycamore, Ill.
