President E-Mail - January 30, 2008

Hello again,

Here is the list of volunteers that we need for the WSMA Honors Auditions. This is a very easy event to run...but we do need volunteers. Respond ASAP. :)

Friday February 1st:
Room Set-Up Following Wind Symphony Rehearsal (As many hands as possible will make this very quick! Don't stay home thinking other people are helping out--this will take 15 minutes with enough people!) :)

Saturday February 2nd:
**AM Set-Up - 7:00 a.m. - Arrive at HFA to double check room conditions, set-up registration, and help set-up judges/directors' lounge. Set-up of lounge should be done by 7:20 a.m. YOU GET TO EAT DOUGHNUTS.
**AM Trouble-shooter - Picks up doughnuts at 7:00 a.m. Brings doughnuts back to HFA. Stays in Band office from 7:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. to be available for answering questions. Time to read, do homework (not practicing) and computer access. LUNCH IS PROVIDED. YOU GET TO EAT DOUGHNUTS.
**Lunch - Around NOON - Someone needs to run to Erbert's and Gerbert's to grab the lunch for the judges, et al. The order will already be placed, but this person needs to get the money beforehand from Dr. Heidel or Mike Vallez. Set-up lunch in teacher's lounge. LUNCH IS PROVIDED.
**PM Trouble-shooter - Stays in Band Office from 12:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. to answer any potential questions. Time to read, do homework (not practicing) and computer access. LUNCH IS PROVIDED.
**PM Clean-Up - Begins at 4-4:30 p.m. - Check with Registration Table in Lobby to see what rooms have completed their auditions. Begin clearing completed rooms, returning them back to normal configuration for class. Three people minimum needed. Again, the more, the merrier!!

That's all! If you can help, please let me know ASAP so I can fill those spots.

Please be sure to show up Friday afternoon after Wind Symphony rehearsal to help set-up for Saturday morning. Your help will be instrumental in making this a quick operation!! :)
