George Colman the Younger: Edition in Progress

The Editors of this site are collaborating on a new edition of Colman's plays. Please watch this page for progress reports.

In the mean time, we would appreciate the assistance of any professional or amateur scholars who are aware of plays attributed to Colman, published or unpublished, not yet included in our List of Plays. To the best of our knowledge the list to date reflects all relevant information contained in The London Stage, the National Union Catalogue, the CBEL, the biographies by Peake (1841) and Bagster-Collins (1946), and the Tasch edition (1981).
